A short note...

Dear, dear brothers and sisters,

We are driving home slower than the 46 hours it took to get to Ohio.  It's giving us a time to think, cry, make decisions, cry, and see God's beautiful country.   And cry a bit more.

Isn't God great no matter what the situation?

I really want to tell you about Endurance's surgery and his last morning on earth, but for now I will just let you know that we will be having a memorial service in the Seattle area, somewhere, on Saturday (June 4th).

May God receive every ounce of glory for the mighty works He has done, and is doing!!!!

  1. May God surround you all with His love, protection and provision on your journey back to the Northwest.
Isn't it wonderful to think about the Greatness of our Lord, Who is present with you all in your journey, and is present with us also here in our own.
His blessings are new every morning and great is His faithfulness.

  3. The Holstons,
God has been glorified and shall continue to be glorified by the life and new life of endurance. There is no longer death in those in Christ Jesus so Endurance moved into life by the grace of God. Blessed be the name of the Lord who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places and continues to keep us as we too endure to the finish line.
We love you all so much. We thank God for the excellent opportunity to bring us into your life and that of Endurance. Yes He endured to the end and those who endure to the end like he did have a firm promise of eternal life from the Lord. God is still good in all these things. However, His goodness sometimes is painful but only momentarily as even happened to our Lord on the cross. After He was raised from the dead He was exalted so high that at His name every knee shall bow. So even now we bow to Him by accepting that He does whatever pleases Him with what is His.
Remain steadfast in God's love and providence because even in all this He is faithful and loving.
